We hear the call to arms

Azeroth is still torn by strife, with Scourge menacing the northern borders of the Eastern Kingdom, and Silithids threatening to break loose from the sands and overrun Kalimdor from the south. The sibling black dragons Onyxia and Nefarion continue to breed destruction and hatred in their respective lairs, calling for the strongest of fighting groups to overcome their plans.

Suddenly, a demonic portal reactivates in the Blasted Lands, as the Burning Legion proves that the end of the Third War was most certainly not the end of the demonic armies. They survive through a tenacious foothold in the world of Draenor, which was shattered, but not destroyed, 18 years ago. Blood elves and the benevolent Draeni continue to wage war in those Outlands, at a terrible cost. The dangers of the dragonflights multiply as a new breed of Infinite Dragons threatens to disrupt the flow of the past, and destroy our world before it even began to fight. The Bronze Dragonflight calls for the aid of sturdy adventurers to prevent the catastrophe, fully aware that forces are stretched thin on all fronts.

Dragons, demons, Scourge and the fel orcs of The Burning Crusade...these are the challenges awaiting the brave and foolish. These are the opportunities that are waiting to be seized. These are the chances that the Heroes of the Twisted Spectrum wish to take, with the aid of all those who want to join them.
